OOTD // Simple Pleasures

This is my first OOTD post in months! I usually take photos in one of the full length mirrors I have at home but I do not have that luxury at uni. I have to stand on my bed to look in my mirror on the wall to see if I look relatively presentable. I know what you are thinking - 'buy a mirror!' - but even if I did I would have nowhere to put it.

Basically, I got a new camera for my birthday from my lovely father. It has the sensor of an SLR but is in the body of a tiny point and shoot. Therefore it is easier to take photos at strange angles.  Fantastic huh? I do realise that you can't really see the trousers but yeah - I'll just have to explain them.

Excuse the messy floor! How filthy to my lab shoes look?!

I saw the blouse on ASOS and fell in love for no specific reason. It was pricey at £35 but I have worn it so many times now. I usually just wear it with jeans but now I finally have a pair of black brocade trousers I can finally wear it even more!

I don't know if I have mentioned this but I have been on the hunt for a nice pair of formal trousers for a long, long time. I always find pairs that are okay but not good enough to buy. After a comical attempt at putting these trousers over my jeans (yes, I did!) I decided to buy these trousers and I am so happy I did! They cost £16 - I know right! However, I do love them and I expect to get a lot of wear out of them at least. I may or may not have gotten the matching shorts.

I got these shoes over a year ago and really don't wear them as often as I should. They just tied the outfit together well even if my feet were cold and wet all day. 

Lastly, it's my new Rimmel lipstick! The wear is atrocious but how gorgeous is the colour? I just need to make sure I don't rub my chin in concentration and I'll be fine.

So that's that. Have I mentioned how I love A/W fashion?
