Like cats? A couple of gifts for cat lovers

It is both fortunate and very unfortunate that my birthday is in November. First, it means that everyone tends to be free and can go out with me to celebrate. Second, I usually get enough books to last me until Christmas when I will get even more books to read to get me through to the start of Semester 2. However, I can never have a birthday barbecue and I always tend to have tests around, if not on, my birthday.

Anyway, moaning about the timing of my birthday aside, I didn't get any books for my birthday but a few cat related gifts from some of my friends. This year a couple of them really went the extra mile with getting more quirky and unique gifts that no-one else would even think about buying, let alone find! They are so lovely and I thought they deserved to be shown on my blog because they are so lovely and quirky and I love them!

Monty Bojangles Natural Hot Chocolate Fudge - (here)
Teacup and Saucer - c/o Royal Albert

For my birthday, my lovely friend Emma found this all natural fudge. There are many flavours to choose from, including a few just for Christmas, and it is some of the best fudge I have ever tried. It is incredibly sweet and you can't have more than a couple of pieces at a time making it last a lot longer than normal fudge would last me. At £2.50, they are the perfect stocking filler - if you can get hold of it! The classic flavours are all sold out online although I think my friend picked it up in a Lakeland store.

Interestingly, the fudge is tasted by a cat - Monty Bojangles. It is really tasty and it didn't last very long. I really want to try the cookies and cream flavour - I think I'll just have to wait until my next birthday!

The other present I wanted to show you all were these beautiful cat earrings. My friend Ellen picked them up from a small independent store Raphael Crafts (here) who specialise in handmade jewellery and crafting. They have loads of gift ideas - including a hamburger bracelet - and of course these lovely cat earrings.

So these are the couple of cat related gifts I wanted to share with you all. They are just that little bit more unique and super lovely.

Rachael xoxo
