This is the official start of 'my week in Instagram'. The last post was an amalgamation of the past month or so but this is from the past week. I'm finally using Instagram properly!
1. I've come back to Norwich for just over a week to spend some time with my flatmates before I go back to Essex for good. As I leave the station I spot these lovely roses at the flower stall and - i'm not going to lie - I was going to buy one. The only thing stopping me was the fact that flowers die quicker with me than they would during a tornado. Therefore, I took a photo - they last longer!
2. Last night was the first UEA Student Summer Ball. It was a lovely night - and I finally found the right dress! Today I'm taking 3 dresses back (and I brought 3 old dresses home with me). In the end I picked a navy maxi with embroidery detail from Debenhams in the 20% off Blue Cross Sale. It looks horrendous on the website but it's lovely in real life - honest!
3. On Saturday evening I officially had my first stand-up gig off of campus in a pub called The Rose. The other comedians were all fantastic (and much more experienced than I was) but apparently you couldn't tell it was only my 3rd gig ever. I also had a scottish man ask to buy me a drink because I was (and I quote) 'bloody brilliant'. I took the compliment and left the drink - I'd just ordered a taxi.
4. Yet another photo from the summer ball - there were free sweets.
5. This is my new belt and I have a little obsession with it. I'm not usually a wearer of gold accessories but i needed them for the navy dress. It's super cute and even better - only cost £2 in Primark! Yes, I am in love and every time I wear it from now on I will shout 'bug life' to everyone around me. I think I said it a fair few times last night.
6. I also went to Propaganda on Friday evening (where else would I go?) My hair was super greasy so I doused it in dry shampoo and went for the whole 'Kristen Stewart looks like she's been pulled through a hedge backwards but her hair still looks good' look. I don't think it looks too bad. I'm missing my full fringe a little bit though.
So that's my week so far!
