Sinful Colors nail polish Review - Just You Wait (858)

I popped into my local Boots a few days ago and spotted a lovely display of these nail polishes. I think the thing that caught me is that they were £1.99 each!!!!!!!! I'm not going to lie, I got a tad excited. I'd heard of Sinful Colors in America and had no clue that they were coming to the UK and now they are here I have a feeling the little of my student loan that remains may be going towards a few more of these babies.

As an excuse to buy a couple, I got them for my Mum because it was her birthday last weekend. Yes, I know, I am such a lovely daughter. I had to paint my nails and so I borrowed one of her (new) varnishes. It's fine, she does it to me all the time (and borrows my more expensive ones too!).

Anyway, I promise not to add any more brackets to this piece - it's such a bad habit and if my English teacher saw this he would probably hunt me down and torture me whilst repeating the words 'YOU MUST NOT OVER USE PARENTHESES' over and over again.

Sinful Colors in Just You Wait - a sheer pink with green/gold shimmer

Sinful Colors in Just Your Wait - how cute is that name? The whole collection have such cutsie names.

Back to my point, I have tried this nail varnish called 'Just You Wait'. It is a very sheer pale pink with a gold/green shimmer which is super sweet. In the swatches below I had applied three coats and it was still really sheer - I don't think I have the time and/or patience to do 10 coats and maybe get a more opaque look.

This polish had fantastic staying power! It lasted a good 4 days without any chipping. I wasn't just lazing about the house either - I was in the gym every day believe it or not. It goes on really smoothly and has a gorgey shiny finish without a top coat. It's a fantastic formula.

Yes, that's alliteration right there!

Overall, this is a super sweet nail varnish with an even sweeter price. The colour is just a little bit fab. It's majorly subtle but perfect for those times when you really don't want majorly 'out there' nails. I definitely want to buy a few more of these varnishes - i'm in need of a new white and black - and see how they fare in comparison.

Have you tried any of the Sinful Colors collection yet? What have you thought?

Rachael xoxo

p.s. I booked my first driving lesson today - hooray!

  1. So painful to see you butcher the name over and over and over.
